Wolf Fest is back for its second year, bringing a full afternoon and evening of live music, local food and entertainment to the Roberta Bondar Pavilion this Saturday.
The festivities begin at 2 p.m. and continue until midnight, giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy the performances, grab something to eat and spend the evening with friends and family. Admission is by donation, with proceeds once again supporting the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District.
Organizers are hoping to build on the success of last year’s event, which raised a significant donation for the Alzheimer Society. This year, the goal is to raise even more while making the festival bigger and more enjoyable for everyone who attends.
A Full Afternoon of Live Music
The music lineup gets underway at 2:30 p.m. with the 49th Field Regiment Pipes & Drums opening the festivities. The Hustle Brothers will take the stage at 3 p.m., followed by Book Club at 4 p.m. and Jupiter Marvelous at 5 p.m.
The evening continues with Mellowship Slinky at 6 p.m., The Luxury at 7 p.m., Silent 9 at 8:30 p.m. and The Cold Play Show closing out the night at 9:30 p.m.
Food, Fun and Community
Music won’t be the only attraction at Wolf Fest. This year’s event will feature an expanded selection of local food vendors, along with entertainment and activities spread throughout the grounds.
With a mix of live performances, local flavours and a community-focused atmosphere, Wolf Fest offers a great way to spend a summer Saturday while supporting an important local cause.
