With just a couple of days to go, volunteers in North Bay are putting the finishing touches on this year’s Terry Fox Run. The 46th annual event will take place on Sunday, September 20, bringing the community together once again to honour Terry Fox and support cancer research.
The event will return to the Rotary Pavilion, with the run taking participants along North Bay’s beautiful waterfront. This year, organizers have shortened the route to 2.5 kilometres to make it more comfortable and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
Participants can complete the 2.5-kilometre course as many times as they like, whether they are aiming for 5K, 10K or simply want to enjoy a walk or run at their own pace. The goal is to make sure everyone can take part in a way that works for them.
Bring Your Family, Friends and Co-Workers
This year, the North Bay Terry Fox Run committee is encouraging residents to create a team with family members, friends, colleagues or workplace associates. Teams can be a meaningful way to honour someone special, bring co-workers together or simply get a group of friends involved in a great cause.

Event Details
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by welcome remarks at 9 a.m. The course will remain open until noon, giving participants plenty of time to complete their walk or run without feeling rushed.
