A Timmins musician is up for a couple of Juno Awards, which are being handed out tonight.
Preston Pablo is nominated for TikTok Juno Fan Choice and Pop Album of the Year for Anywhere But Here at the awards show being held in Vancouver and hosted by Michel Bublé
“Been a minute but we baaaaack, excited and grateful to be nominated for 2 Junos this year. Lets gooooooo!!” wrote Pablo on social media when the nominations were announced in February.
Born and raised in Timmins, Pablo is a Timmins High and Vocational School grad. He left the area several years ago to pursue his big dreams of being a musician.
In 2023, Pablo won his first Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and performed his single Flowers Need Rain.
He is playing a sold-out show in Timmins at the McIntyre arena in May.
